Aunt Jemima is mad that Mrs. Butterworth is being used on her pancakes. A challenge has been thrown down. Who do you take?

It must be a Southern thang, but I vote for my brother-in-laws homemade cane syrup, sourghum or molasses to some folks.

Wisconsin maple syrup is next on the list.

if it wasnt made of high fructose corn syrup i would go with aunt jemima. the crap they are calling pancake syrup today just sucks.

my rule of thumb: if it contains high fructose corn syrup its gonna taste like it was filtered through the sphincter of a-http://deathknight.info/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/biggest-reddest-babboon-***-you-will-see-today_500x500.jpg

I prefer real maple syrup, also. But when my kids were little and we used the 'fake' stuff, we usually used Mrs. Butterworth.

I wasn't going to buy the real stuff when my kids wasted half of the syrup they poured on their pancakes.
