Is it common for this to cause the gun to discharge when loading the magazine?
After a brief Google search, I still have no idea what a Sure Grip Trigger Lock is. Context/back story would help.
If your gun discharges while inserting a magazine, send it back to the manufacturer or a gunsmith. There is something seriously wrong.
Sorry, but that doesn't compute & need more info. For the pistol to fire, must have a round in the chamber. Just loading a mag will not put a round in the chamber. Secondly, it will not fire unless both the grip safety & trigger are pressed. Neither is required to load a magazine.
