Good news for those who own non serviceable suppressors. Now your cans can be cleaned and they will have longer lifespan.

I just found out from "fireman1291" youtube channel, his video:

    To jailbreak your suppressors:

I will soon get my SWR Trident9 jailbroken.
So what do you think of this suppressor jailbreak?

This might be an old news.. but new to me as i just found out. And thought of sharing with you all.

    Total bs.

It isnt "dirt" that destroys a suppressor its erosion on the baffels from the hot gasses. Suppressors shooting center fire dont need to be cleaned. The half life on my surefire is around 100k rounds.

The term scam comes to mind

The rates they are charging you can send a can to the manufacturer for service a couple of times.

Anyway just my opinion. Do what ya will. But I don't think I would take the advice of a youtube warrior that says he is going to run his 9mm can on a center fire rifle....

One other point. The reason that suppressors are sealed in centerfire offerings is the pressures they contain are much greater.

Suppressor makers seal the cans to keep the pressure in and the can in one piece and keep you out of them because they are very very very easy to assemble incorrectly. Get the baffels wrong and it can easily go kaboom.

Isn't jailbreak the term used for hacking an iPhone?
