Did you all get through the storm ok? It was pretty bad here but I hear indiana got it worse.
I am fine and so is the house. I hope everyone else made it through ok.
It's getting pretty bad down here in Georgia, but it looks like y'all got it pretty bad. Y'all pray for us as we go through this storm. I'll be praying for y'all.
It is so windy here, I am afraid to look outside. 50 mph. No tornado warnings yet. Rained bigtime earlier. (NW Ohio)
I texted Stalkingbear's daughter today. They are all fine. I think the majority of the storms were in Southern Indiana.
well, I live a few miles from West liberty and the storm went around us here in Eastern Kentucky, Asyou know our neighbors to the south were not so lucky. I retired from Morehead State University and having a unit in West Liberty, I have worked there many times. A couple of years ago I would have been there working with the National guard . I have worked cleanup and support for several communities during my enlistment. E-Town had a bad tornado a few years ago and Morehead had a bad one a few years ago. Let hope the people there can rebuild . Nice community, frendly people.
Dog200tj, we are talking about these storms that came through Indiana and othere places south , through southern Kentucky, Ohio, but here in Ky. tornados destroyed several communities here close by. South Eastern Ky. was devastated. The storm came acress us here at home but the tornados were on buth sides of our small community here in Eastern Ky.
P.S. The header says it's 2:59Pm, but it's 11:00 AM here.in Ky.March,11,2012
Jeeze guys, sorry to hear about all that. I don't follow the news much and I get the weather by sticking my head out the door Prayers and thoughts to all that have been affected
I work for as an insurance claims adjuster here in KY and we have been extremely busy due to all the storm losses. Let's hope that is the only major one of the year!
