Well I got my new toy and thought I'd do my first review video. Watch it in 720p for better quality.

That's not a bad price in a 9mm 1911 style pistol. STI makes good stuff. Thanks for the report.

blaspheme why would you disgrace a 1911 by shooting a sissy girllie round like the 9mm in it? There is a short list of cartridges that should be chambered in a 1911

    45acp
    460 rowland
    38 super
    50gi

    400 corbon I don't think so man.

Still a nice looking piece though.

Why not? They make them in .22lr.

    I'd like to have a 1911 in .40, 9mm, and 10mm to go along with my .45. :D

    Great looking STI!!

With the exception of the Spartan (built on a Rock Island frame), STI's range from $1000 and up. Nice guns but not cheap...

22lr is acceptable as it is way too much fun to shoot.

9mm are for sissies and GLOCK owners.

looked at one today that was on sale for 699.00
but it must be an older model. it does not have the "grip" markings the gun in the review does.

Hello and thank you for the interesting review. I have had very good luck with STI Trojans and currently own one in .45 ACP and a 6" long slide in 9mm. Both have provided exceptional service. I hope that yours serves you well for years to come.

    Best and good shooting.
