While scrolling through the Nighthawk Customs website I clicked on the Masters Edition. It is high polished (chrome or nickel), some engraved scroll work, and genuine elephant ivory grips with Nighthawk logo lasered on.

    NH-Masters - Masters Edition - Custom Guns - - Detail

I think the scroll work looks a little ghey, not a fan of it. But, I think a mirrored polished 1911 with pure white ivory grips would look sharp, very clean. So, I started looing around for different polishings, and started thinking about mirror finished metal grips, and so. I then stumbled on a M&P forum and found this pimped out STI. I really like the clear grips and bullet window. Reminds me of a custom pistol on D&L Sports website.

The engraving on the NH makes it look like it belongs to a Mexican General, but the grips scream New Orleans pimp...

I dig those clear grips on the STI too. I might try making a set for ha ha's...

    Wasn't "Q" James Bond's weapons guy?

I think that STI has a lot of work done to it.

Whether or not it was needed is a WHOLE 'nother story. I suppose if you were going to be a bad guy in the remake of The Blade Runner, you would be right out of central casting with that on your hip. :D
