    Getting bored...

    Looking for another girlfriend..

Don't want another polymer pistol, 1911, Beretta, CZ75, Sig or a revolver.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THESE!!!!!

I guess I'm just looking to be exposed to other steel frames that I'm not familiar with yet...

Any ideas other than the ones I mentioned?

I've come to respect and appreciate the guidance and advice given by members here over the years

    Thanks

desert eagle in 357 or 44. getting good with one of these is no small thing. all the desert eagles are ultra reliable and laser accurate. they require the shooter to use proper forum to achieve good results.

a desert eagle is probably the most difficult handgun to master.

ive got a 50ae version with a 44mag barrel. i truly regret selling my 357mag version.

I have a couple of High Power and double action clone.
I've always wanted a good CZ they use to make from forged steel and properly blued and polished, not the cast and painted that most seem to offer for sale. Don't know the model numbers right now.
I hope there are more choices than I can envision. 1911s, Hipower and similar designs, Glocks and all plastic guns, and CZs. There are communist block pistols but basically 1911 derived designs and poor ones at that. PPKs, Walthers, and Lugers and......

Was it the French made a copy of the Walther using a aluminum frame called the P-1?

Another would be the ww2 era 9x19mm Steyr-Hahn.

Though it is a Beretta the Modello 1934 and the Hungarian FEMARU 37M pistol. Both use the 9mm Corto (.380 ACP).

The French also used a steel framed semiauto in 9mm during thw 1950's as well.

I know you said no 1911's but Para makes a Light Double Action (LDA) trigger. To me it seems like a totally different pistol.

All steel? Very high quality? Not seen everywhere? More accurate than almost anything else, right out of the box?

Give a look at the Swiss-made SIG P210, if you can find one.

The 3rd gen S&W autos are very well built guns.
    5906 - 9mm
    4006 - .40 S&W
    1006 - 10mm
    4506 - .45 ACP

Lots of LE trade in guns out there. GT Distributors in Austin gets big batches of mostly 5906's. The ones that do not pass function checks get looked at by me. 95% of those just need to be detail cleaned and they work perfectly.

They should be getting another batch of about 1500 guns soon

I just hate it when someone shares my secret. I'd extol the virtues of a 659 / 5906 but then others would know....

IMHO, the 5906 is one of the BEST pistols S&W has ever produced. Rugged, accurate, reliable, compact. It is just a bit heavy when compared to the "modern" 9mm's.
