I have always had a personal resentment towards steel case ammo. I have a Rock Island that I love to take to the range, and I can get steel case wolf .45 at a decent price l, but I am hesitant to feed this to my pistol. How's many of you run steel cases on the semi regular?

I have shot a ton of WPA 9mm in my RIA tactical 9, runs like melted butter. Just give your pistol a good cleaning every so often.

Wish I could find WPA 45 ACP on the shelf locally.

I run steel case ammo about 30% of the time. Never had a problem so far in 30+ 1911's. Not saying it won't cause problems but hasn't in all of mine. This includes 9mm and .45.
