Bought the media, bought the Thumlers tumbler. Used both the first time today on some 9mm and .38 spec. Brass came out shiny like new inside and out including the primer pocket. Now I'm happy.

I looked at that link, but why would you use something harder than brass to clean/polish brass?

Won't it prematurely thin the brass?

So this is a "wet" media and you have to use a roll-tumbler. Anyone know if it will work in a vibra-tumbler dry?

scubie, I'm going to say no. They are thin sticks so just vibrating them won't make them move, only settle. In order to get the media to move in and around the brass you would have to roll it.

It's used wet, in a tumbler, not a vibratory type

I spoke with Kevin, who assisted me in ordering the proper size. They are basically short, thin pins which work very well inside and out and clean quite well. I did a bit of shopping around, and this was the one with the best price, $5.00 per pound, with a 5 pound min.
