I have the Ruger 10/22 Takedown with a stainless barrel. My question is can you have that barrel blued? I want it to be dark matte like my mini-14. I wish they had an option to get the dark matte barrel in the Takedown model. Any advice?

can't blue a stainless barrel. another option would be to Duracoat it or something similar.

What is duracoat? Could i get it in the dark matte color?

it's a type of coating, similar to paint, made for firearms. it comes in different colors as well. check out Brownell's or MidwayUSA. also Google Duracoat for their website. should be able to get lots of information about it there.
