squirrel hunting on conservation land?

    Does anyone squirrel hunt conservation land? Season opens Saturday and I'm plannin on goin, I thought it had to be shotgun only but a friend said he thinks you can use a 22...anybody out there know for sure?

    I believe you can use a 22 rifle,but I would check with the state and conservation dept. about which conservation area you are interested in hunting,some areas have different regulations on conservation ground.

    It depends on what particular area you're at. Where I go in Clinton, I can use Rimfire or Shotgun.
    You need to go to Missouri Conservation for Area Maps, to see what Weapon you can use. If Shotgun is used, some places say how large of "shot" can be used, OR if you have to use Steel Shot.
