I took the springer to the range this morning.
Didn't have much ammo, but I put 4 or 5 mags through it.
I was shooting reloaded 185gr jacketed semi wadcutters at the 7 yard line.
Not the best 7 yard group I've ever shot, but then again that's only my second time shooting a 1911, first time with that particular one.. maybe i'll get a little better with practice.
The pistol is sweet to shoot, no malfunctions of any kind. I could shoot double, or single handed without a problem.
The only thing that was less than awesome was the fact that it tends to hurl the spent casings near your face.
I suppose thats just how it is with a standard ejection port.

You have an excellent pistol, you'll get used to it soon.

If those groups were shot off a sandbag rest at 7 yards,,,,,,,,, your gun might have some fit issues:confused: (barrel to bushing or barrel/slide lock up).
If those groups were shot standing,,,,,,,,,,, that's a very good starting point:).

    Thanks for the replies!:)

I'm sorry I should have mentioned I was standing, no bench or rest of any kind. My local outdoor range has benches for the rifle part of the range, but you have to stand at the pistol range.
