Hey everyone. New to this type of thing as far as posting. Give her a go though. A friend of mine has an 03 and we were shooting yesterday and we were having a hard time with correct sight picture. When I sit up on the thing I have a great field of view but see both circles ie rear sight aperture and front sight ring. Do you center both rings or are we to close to the rear sight?

Honestly I have no idea. But you can always put some rounds down range, do a little experiment, and I'm sure you'll figure it out.

the sight hood wasnt meant to be used for firing the rifle it was purely a shipping attachment to keep the front sight post from being bent in arms racks and shipping.

the reason being is the front sight is supposed to be used by the balance the ball on a post sight picture. the black center of the target circle is above the sight post.

this is the correct 03a3 sight picture:

your eye should focus on the front sight sight post
