I have a 20-60x60 Spotting Scope and I am very happy with it. Brand is a noname.
Basicly, the one saw at ebay should be o.k. for a pistl range.
But maybe a bit weak for long ranges.

would it be good enough for lets say 50-100yrds?

on 50 yards it should be just fine. I`m not sure on 100 yards.
A friend of mine uses a zoom up to 20-80x80 or so for the 100 meters rifle range.

DO NOT Get that baraska you will not be happy with it. Look for a bushnell space saver I paid about $150 for mine on ebay. It was getting praise from guy on the 1000 yard range during an f-class shoot.

You get what you pay for in optics. save your money and get a better one.

Check out Beaver Valley Supply Company Inc. - Atwood Kansas distrubuters of NC Star optics. They have a couple of spotting scopes under $100.00. I have a upper end NC Star rifle scope, has held up to a couple of seasons on a 7mm Re. Mag.. I like the range finder feature in it, and is nice and clear. It was under $200.00 at time of purchase. Not top shelf stuff, but very reasonable.
