I guess the lesson from this article is to make sure you know how to fit a vest properly and make sure your friend knows how to shoot. Also, even if your on the safe side of a stunt like this, you can still go to prison.

    Idiots!

You all got that right! Although I can not figure out how he was shot in the chest above the vest with the vest on ????? Neck or throat yes! But chest over the top of a vest? Must have had the vest on upside down with his legs through the shoulder loops? But never the less these guys were idiots and about as sharp as the leading edge of a bowling ball! :p

In the news today. You just cant make this kind of stuff up!:D

    FOX NEWS

Taylor Ann Kelly has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting.
A South Carolina man died Wednesday morning after police say he asked one of his friends to fire a gun into a bulletproof vest he was wearing.
The bullet reportedly missed the Kevlar vest and hit Blake Wardell, 26, in the chest. Friends performed CPR, but Wardell bled to death in the garage, the report said. The death was classified a homicide. The bulletproof vest was about 10 years old and the weapon was called a small-caliber gun, The State reported.
Taylor Ann Kelly, 18, was reportedly charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting and can face five years in prison.
"It wasn't a fight. They were actually going to take a shot at the vest," Don McCown, the Anderson County deputy coroner, told the paper. "They were going to shoot the victim with the vest on. And he was shot in the chest, just above the vest

He gave "consent" to be shot. Just like a boxer cannot be prosecuted for beating up his opponent in the ring, she should walk. Probably did society of favor by removing "stupid" from the gene pool.

    JK, a little

Well, she's no genius for shooting the gun at him, either.

This is just crazy. If I wanted to test a vest I would put it on a dummy or a target stand with a backdrop. Oh, sorry. I guess she did use a dummy. Never mind.
