9mm here, night sights, functions flawlessly. Awesome gun.
I consider the SP2022 to be Sig Sauer's Best bang for the buck pistol they make. I got my wife one in .40 that is also equiped with a set of Crimson Trace laser grips. I paid $424 for it with night sights.
I like it so much I found a BB gun that is a replica that comes with the hard to find small grip that works on the teal one. Them side by side, is hard to tell the real one from the BB minus the Crimson Trace grips. Take a gander. $29 bucks
I'm not a fan of polymer guns but the 2022 is on the short list that I've shot and liked. The bang:buck ratio is great on it.
Bought one and sold it. Sorry. I just dont like the trigger feel. And its bigger than my Glock 19.
But smaller than a Glock 22 bigger than a Glock 27........... Sig just make one of these and its well made. As for the trigger, in double action its a little long but in single it just right. I am also a fan of the decocker.
Now as to a Sig product aimed directly at GLOCK, their 250 models are the best comparisons
Got mine a month ago.
Night sights, Bedair Machine Works Stainless Steel Guide Rod, Streamlight TLR-3
I'm always curious as to what these are running people out the door? Like I said I have the .40 cal with night sights and mine was $424 out the door.
I bought mine $420 from gunbroker.com plus $25 transfer fee. It came with night sights too.
Just picked one up yesterday. $389 +tax
I must've gotten mine when it came out, back in '05. I paid around $550
They havnt been around that long if I'm not mistaken... There were two similar models prior, the SP2009 and the 2340 but the 2022 is a redesigned rendition.
Got mine a few months ago for i think $399. Great gun for the price. Extremely reliable, accurate, and shoots just about any ammunition put through it. It's hard to find a bad Sig.
That is so true......... Its hard to find a bad Sig......
I own 2340 & 2022. Both are fine tools
My only issue with the 2022 I own is having to change the size on the rear sight to bring the impact at 15 yards up 2 or so in other than that a fantastic tool
I am so impressed by my SIG SP2022 that I even have a registerd domain and email by that name. Vernon (at) sig2022.com Right now if you go to www.sig2022.com it redirects you to a page in my Taurus 45acp website. Most accurate and easy shooting pistol I have ever had. Period. I made my own steel guide rod and works just great.
my first gun! i love it!
Great first choice in weapons
First hand gun was Sig Mosquito to get comfortable with my follow on purchase which was a Sig P226 with nite sights. Although the Mosquito was a little finicky it's fun to shoot. The 226 is a whole other story. This is phenomenal firearm. Accurate, reliable, comfortable. Can't say enough positive about it.
Just was told my P239CCP should be in next week and can't wait to take it to the range. Even though Sig discontinued the CCP package several years ago they agreed to put one together for me. 239, 3 mags, Sig holster, sig dual mag holder and nite sights. Next on the list is the 2022 which will be my first polymer frame
