2nd trip to the range. Still shooting low (about3-4in.) Had a friend try my Sigma he also shot low I shot his SR9c and put 4out of five in the 4'' circle with the 5th right on the edge of the circle at 8o'clock. Is the sd9 any better than the Sigma? I like the action and simplicity of the sigma. Does the sd operate like the sigma? The ruger was pretty nice!

I rented the Sigma once or twice and was not a huge fan of the trigger, I wonder if that might be why you and your friend were shooting low with it. I have not shot the SD9 yet but do have 2 M&P's, the trigger is way better on them.

Sigma's have a tough trigger to master and that's probably where the problems lie...

Pretend you're in the Air Force and Aim High. :D

I have no issues or problems with the accuracy of my Sigma. Perhaps you are pushing to compensate for the trigger pull.

That is my niece's first handgun. She practices with it all the time. She seems to have no problems. But, as the first (and only), she was "forced" to learn how to stage the trigger when on target. And she learned that she does not need to release the trigger all the way for the reset to take affect. This has helped her a lot.

These type guns just aren't made for accuracy. The more time spent at the range the better your groups will get. But they will never be as accurate as me and my CZ, Kimber, or browning buckmark. :p
