While i wait for my ruger i ran across this gem. Anyone own one?
My brother just bought one and I got to shoot it last weekend. I was very impressed with the gun. It's not particularly my style, but seems to be very well made. It was very accurate and smooth to shoot. One thing I didn't care for was that the grips are some kind of G10 material by Hogue. They are made longer than the bottom of the frame and are used to make an integrated magwell. The MSH was also the same material and extended below the bottom of the frame to complete the integrated magwell. As long as the stock MSH is used, it will keep you from changing out the grips. But it seems to be a good gun. My brother has the paperwork set off for the suppressor that goes with it too.
I was looking at the non threaded one with lopro trijicons
I had one was nice, it was a impulse didnt find what i wanted so i bought it. Sold it to a friend of mine to help fund a new colt thats been put on hold. He loves it shoots it about every other day when i keep him supplied with reloads.
No ftf or anything?
Nope run like a champ. I gave him a couple chip mcormick mags that i had and hes happy as heck. Now trying to figure out what he wants next, he like the sig nightmare 1911. Of course him and his wife have nothing but sigs.
The nightmare is a sexy piece of gun.
I agree seen one at the last indy 1500 gunshow, very nice. But i like the blued or black, not a big fan of flashy. The scorpion was really nice just didnt like the looks of the rail after i got it. It was in the od green thought it was cool at first but that kinda wor of with me. They are nice guns dont get me wrong just not my cup of tea.
While the Scorpion is not on my list of wants, it is still a very good looking gun.
I've got the Scorpion carry. It's amazing! Accurate, good balance and zero issues. I was reluctant at first, but glad I took the leap.
I love my carry scorpion. You will NOT be disappointed !!
Hows the flat trigger?
It wasnt bad took just a little getting used to, u wont notice after 50 rounds. At least i didnt.
Same here, after a few rounds I didn't even notice it.
I love my Sig Scorpion. The color took a little bit of getting use to, but the overall function and accuracy is wonderful. I have put about 300 rounds through it with no issues all.
I am a fan of sig's 1911s but the color of the scorpion I am not. I was going to get one three months ago but the color bugged me enough not to get it.
