Has anyone out there ever had any experiences with the Sig Sauer 9MM in 147 Grain( JHP) G and 45 ACP in 230 Grain( JHP) ammos? If yes, what do you think of them? Are they very reliable and what is your take about them as defensive rounds?
    Thanks in advance.

I've never seen one. But if SIG put their name on it, I would trust it.:)

Not a fan of 147gr outside of competition, and even then, I've wandered back to 125gr even for competition.

If it's commercial ammo, sig pistol won't care.

I can only comment on the 9mm. Guys I know at the range either love it or don't. It would seem it depends on what pistol you are using it in. Some pistols just do not seem to like the 147gr bullets as well as others may. Most likely the feed ramps or magazines.

No way to tell from here. Shoot 50 or 100 rounds through the pistol in question, preferably without cleaning it, and see if they all work as advertised. Some pistols - individual pistols not different models - will and some won't.
