Can't link but here is the text.

"This is a police trade in mint condition. I've put maybe 200 rounds through it, and it's a fantastic shot without a flaw. No holster wear. It was build 09/2001 and imported by Century Arms. I'm selling it with all you see in the pictures: two factory mags, one Promag after-market mag, the original shoulder holster, a DeSantis Pro Stealth holster, and the hardside case. I'm asking $395 OBO for local sale only. The thing to keep in mind here is that this thing is absolutely mint. You can take your chances online, but you're not likely to find one as cherry. "

Local guy selling this. $300 seems to be a good price. Few have sold for over $400 on Gunbroker in different states.

Worth it at $350? I'd be happy paying $325. Looks to be in good shape. I don't need it, but i'm intrigued by it. It looks like it is newer from 2001. I've just started reading up on them today.

Forgot to note that if I purchased it I would probably carry it a bit. As it seems less chunky than my P229 being single stack.

Can anyone confirm that it should fit any holster for a P225 correct?

I've owned a couple of P6's and actually owned a real P225 for a time. They are great guns as long as you don't mind having a low capacity single stack 9mm that may be cranky with JHP ammo. For a time, mags for these were very scarce and very expensive but I've seen them on the market again. The Pro Mag magazine is worthless so don't factor that in at all.

BTW, the P6 was a German police version of the commercial P225. The differences were a bit less "polish", a barrel designed only for FMJ ammo, and that goofy "ring" hammer. Parts are interchangeable with a P225...

    If I was looking for a quality 9mm - I'd pay $350-$375 for it...

If I could find a Sig for 350 to 375, even if it was a 9mm, I would buy one just to have one in the collection. Never been a big fan of the 9mm for one reason or another.

Thanks guys! I might have just sold some ammo/mags so I have around $500 to spend so it is a matter of if I want this or pick up a Glock 30 or 23.

Nothing against Glocks at all. I don't like them but they are well made guns. The amount of clean P6s on the market is finite - you can get a Glock anytime...

I agree. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller. He is only 10 minutes from me so I hope the thought of a quick sale allows me to get it for what I want.

He was originally asking $425 for it.

I'll let you know what turns up.

Well I picked up a Glock 30SF as I didn't hear anything from the seller. I just got a PM and his offer isn't as low as I wanted for it, but it isn't bad. I'm thinking it over right now.

$325 would be a great buy for one in that good of condition. They are selling in my area for $425 with only one mag and they're not nearly in that good of condition. If the seller won't drop to $325, I wouldn't have a problem paying the $350.

Don't tell me where that one is or I'd be tempted to buy it!

Yeah, he didn't want to do any shipping either so only a local sale. If you don't have somebody looking for that particular gun it is hard to move it.

I guess it's just proof that it all depends on the market. Those are moving in my area like hot cakes. My father in law just sold one with 3 mags and the Sig custom wood grips for $500 and people were practically pushing each other aside to look at it at the last gun show. And it still wasn't in the condition as the one in these pictures.

    P225 over Glock

NGIB, I agree. I'm no Glock fan, but they are a quality firearm for the price. I love my straight, smooth, shooting P225. Sig makes quality firearms!
