What do you guys think of the Sig P250? My local shop has one of those 2SUM kits with a full size assembly and a Compact assembly for $700. I felt the trigger and it feels like a smoothed out revolver trigger. I am basically a revolver and 1911 fan so the revolver "feel" of the trigger is fine with me. My only concern is that the action group/trigger-hammer group or whatever SIG calls it is held in the grip frame by only one pin which is the disammbley lever that releases the slide as well. Is the frame stable enough for long use?

I am trying to round out my collection (and replace my Taurus weapons) and this would fill two positions (Full and Compact 9mm).

I'll tell you what I have so far:

    thats quite a handgun collection.

if you like the feel of the gun go for it. im not personally a fan of the 250 grip. sigs are good guns.

I say get it. I have the full size .45 and a friend of mine has the compact .40 for carry. They are good feeling guns and shoot very well. The double action trigger is smooth and the night sights are nice. Good guns overall.

Of several Sigs that I own , the P250 is my least favorite (because of it being DAO.)

    I like DA/SA guns.

I decided to have my Sig P250 trigger worked on by a very good "trigger" man.

So I contacted Robert Burke (phone - (972) 342-2717 or email Robert Burke ) - he did a wonderful trigger job on it.

It was like a new gun.

So if you buy a P250 I'd suggest a quick trigger job.

I have a 2Sum in 9mm. I'm more of a DA/SA guy too, but I like the 250. It takes a bit getting used to, but it shoots as well as my 226 or 220, just different.

I ended up buying a new Springer XDm Compact with the 3.8" barrel and the reduced grip size for the short 13-rd mags and with the 19-rd mags using a X-tension it is like two pistols anyways.

At $100 less than the SIG 2SUM I couldn't pass it up.
    Color me happy! :)

P.S. Pics and a Range Report comming next week.
