I was at the range today and noticed the guy beside shooting a gun i had trouble identifying from a distance. After talking to him it turned out to be a SIG P210, i had a few shots with it interesting gun accurate and nice to shoot.

Morgo, always enjoy you posts and photos of the nice target pistols you have. Also read with interest your description some time back of the legal/bureaucratic hurdles you have to overcome to enjoy your firearms hobby. I do admit that I'm thankful that out here in the Southwestern U.S., for the time being at least, firearms ownership and use is not unreasonably burdensome. BTW, I used to have an X-5 myself. Certainly a much more modern gun than the 210, with features many shooters now days would likely prefer. Mine was just as reliable and accurate as the 210. I'd still have it, except for the fact that I'm just a recreational shooter, don't compete, and the 210 just fits me better.

Thanks mate :)

Yeah we certainly have a few hoops to jump through, though once you've done it though its not terrible, could be better in some areas still and we are making some slow progress.

i think given the choice the between the two if I could only have one, even though I think the X5 is a better overall range gun, I'd take the p210 :)

The X5 is a competiton variant of the P226 hand-fitted and assembled in Germany with all the trimmings you'd expect of such a target firearm.

Mine's since had a different set of Nill grips added to allow for the Sig magwell not pictured.
