I have been waiting for this gun to be released for a couple of years now. There's a new loophole that allows civilians to purchase new machine guns though a incorporated trust.

Anyone else looking forward to this gun?

There is no loopholes in nfa rules and law. You cannot purchase a machine gun made after 1986. Period.

A living trust allows for easier disbursement of property upon death of the trustee. It allows multiple people to be on the trust to access nfa items but no background checks are bypassed. The nfa branch conducts a background check on each person listed in the trust. If you add a prohibited person to your trust your application will be denied. If you make changes to a previously approved trust the new trust must be submitted.

    There are no loopholes.

Sig is getting ready to send these out pretty quick its the MPX-C for Civilian model . They will have a SBR model that again will be a NFA item and will require all the standard BS to get the tax stamp . It will be semi auto only so again the fun factor turned into just looks factor now :( MSRP is going to run right around $2000 . Thats a bit steep for what you get really .
If ya got the money pick one up and let us know how it rolls. Im always keen to try new things out but damn thats alot of Franklins for what you get .

This is the C model with a pinned and welded gizmo " muzzle brake" on the end to get you to 16"

so basically what he guy is saying is that yeah its a legal loophole, but expect it to be denied and then file a lawsuit to fight it whereas it will still most likely be denied or the ATF will just add a clarification to the regulation saying no person/s or trusts. So yeah its not gonna happen.

It most likely can\will be denied. But I want to try. Worst case, they say no and I file for a semi auto sbr.

well if your gonna do it then if i were you I would file both at the same time that way when they deny it you are still halfway through the waiting period for your SBR

You have a problem , you will need to have the serial number before you apply , Im pretty sure your not going to get Sig to ship to a FFL if they know its not going to a LEO . I may be wrong but that leaves someone out alot of money and its probably going to be the dealer when its denied and he has no place to go with it .

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. There are plenty of stupid people masquerading as "attorneys". They promulgate really bad information to the ill informed public.

The machine gun registry is CLOSED. End of discussion. That is until the libtards are overthrown

The only way you can buy this gun is if you are A ) buying for a Military unit or B) Buying for/As a Member of Law Enforcement. We saw this at the Sig booth at SHOT. Unless I am an invited Guest to a police department to view training,. That was the one time I will ever see that Weapon.

I figured as much , however they are coming out with the Civy version that I posted above , you could apply for the tax stamp and later remove the thingamagigger on the end . :D
