I am curious as to what type of holsters everyone is caring there Sig's in. I had been looking at some of the standard 1911 holsters and with the squared slide of the Sig, they just dont fit so I have been looking at leather which once broken in works like a charm and adds a level of sophistication to quality of your pistol. Anyways these are my carry options

I just picked this up today because I usually carry in a Miami Classic II shoulder rig but that doesn't work with everything.

Its a Bianchi model number 59 special agent holster

    And the Miami Classic II

I carry my Scorpion Carry in a Blackhawk CQC Serpa. The picture bellow is from another member, I have however bought the Coyote Tan to fit the Scorpion scheme. Fits like a dream. Quick holster. You can draw really fast and the retention is tight. Very nice holster

Jit slide when it comes to holsters I don't carry open so no need for major retention. And the only way you know I have one is if I have to use it. K.I.S.S

LOL, no holster yet. Probably in a few weeks. I'm currently carrying a PPS in one of his IWB holsters and it's wonderful. Looks like a Crossbreed Supertuck.

IWB. If you truly want to conceal a govt model you have to go IWB.

Which gun model did you order from the Blackhawk website? It doesn't show the Sig 1911 railed as an option.

This is how I carry My Sig 1911 UC, loaded it weighs 28 oz, and conceals very easy, and most comfortable I ever had for IWB.

Bianchi Suppression IWB for my Sig XO. Just got the holster, feels great. Gun feels plenty secure. Also bought a Galco KingTuk at the same time, but I'm returning it. Suppression is slightly more comfortable with thicker padding, altho KingTuk was not bad. Gun was too snug IMO in the kydex holster of the KingTuk; really required a sharp yank to draw.

I have been carrying my Ultra in a Galco King Tuk with great satisfaction. I have a couple of others but also find some are not the best with the slide profile of the Sig.

I just ordered an El Paso Saddlery OWB leather holster for my nightmare carry. I had the same holster for my S&W PD and regret getting rid of it. Great holster, comfortable, well made and durable. For around $55 you can't get much better.
