So the slide on my LC9 has side play in it. Has ever since I got it. At first I thought this was bad, but after firing 100+ rounds through it without problems I figured maybe its no big deal. However, I checked my LCP and its like one solid piece. So it leads me back to wondering... Should I send it in to Ruger, or is a little bit of side to side action okay?

Edit, just check LCP again, its got a wee bit of wiggle room too. I guess perhpas they need to have that gor the slike to rack properly? I don't know... What do you more experienced guys say?

Now if you are talking about like a 1/4 inch yes that is bad. Otherwise its fine. The lc9 I keep on my hip does the same and so does every poly pistol and most steel fram guns I have ever shot.
