Tough choice for me.... What's your favorite?
This one !...........
That is like asking you to pick your favorite among your children. Would you settle for a "family portrait?"
Just depends on the type of gun I need at the time, but those are my favorites.
So Josh, you still like that cheap old Russian stuff?
Of course. Those Mosins have a lot of potential for a little work.
you can do it Chainfire! Only one
Fair enough. I won't call it my favorite, but I will never, intentionally get rid of it.
My problem is I have too many favorites! Being a Gun Nut with a terrible addiction!
But here is one of them! It is a Rock River Arms Inc. custom built 1911 all steel Commando 4.5 inch Barrel with Black-T Finish. She shot a 1 MOA Group at 50 yards (not at 25 like most) out of a Ransom Rest in a Shooting Times Magazine Gun Test article several years ago. Still have her today! And will be passing it on someday to the right family member who will appreciate it as much as I do! I need to take a better picture since this one does not do it justice. (Like the light reflection on the bottom Diamond on the grip. In reality it looks exactly like the top Diamond on the Grip) It is still in pristine condition. With no more than 150 rounds fired in it at the most.
My 'favorites' change with time. It is a luxury of being 'old' and retired.
Current handgun fave.
Thousands through it.
Favorite rifle............at the moment
While I have two 1100s and an 870.......
My favorite shotgun would be my 1100 Magnum 12 ga w 30" full.
Sold it yrs ago.
Took a lot of geese, dove .......a few turkeys and one coyote with it.
Just too shiny and nice, even after yrs of hunting it looked new (because I babied it).
Have an 1100 SP now. Treat it like an ex wife.
I've owned a few revolvers, and shot others as well.
My fave is still a 629 Smith.
Don't really handgun hunt anymore.
And arthritis has me wary of boomers.
Still.............square butt N frame feels so good.
I need adopted. I could be the right family member........
My favorite handgun. .41 mag OM Blackhawk. This gun flat out shoots, one-handed or two. 2 1/2 lb trigger.
Uberti single action stainless steel 5.5" in 45colt
