I'm looking to add a new member to my growing family and have decided on the 220. What I haven't decided on is what I want in a way of looks. So show me what you got!

The are from Hogue and are tulipwood. Pretty reasonable too. They are nice because I have a large hand and they thickened up the overall grip of the pistol. The back of the grip is really cool. Here is a couple more pics.

I'm eyeing the exact same gun. I'm wondering if you've noticed the frame being scratched by the decocking lever?

I hadn't noticed any so I pulled it out of the safe and worked it a few dozen times. It dosen't seem to me like the decocking lever would scratch the recessed face of the frame it is meant to ride in unless you applied a great deal of force inward. Since the lever is intended to function with a downward action, I doubt you would get any scratches with nomal use. Mine is only a few months old and I've only run about 500 rounds through but the lever seems to be pretty solid and, no scratches.

Thanks for checking yours sb777. I just pick up a used one that has a thin crescent shaped scratch from the decocking lever. The previous owner must have really pressed on it hard and with an inward pressure instead of a downward pressure. Other then that small cosmetic flaw, it runs and feels flawless. I'm not sure the scratch bothers me all that much. But if it starts to irritate me in the future, I see Sig offers refinishing of the slide and frame on their website. Looks like they offer a tune-up package too. Wonder what their turn around time would be for that?

Don't have any experience with Sig factory turn around. Good luck with your P220 and hope you have better luck finding ammo then I've had.

I Recently stumbled upon a new?? 220 police turn in for 500.00. The gun came with 3 mags and night sights. No rail. The gun appears to be unissued. One of the best shooting 45s in my collection. Pics to follow when I get a minute. Amazing how prices have jumped on this model. Not too long ago you could pick up a like new example for 400-450 allay long. This is my 4th one. Shoots like a demon. No jamming/function issues in 400 rounds with several brands of ammo.

Lucky. Store here had some trade in M&Ps the other day, told me some was unissued , of coarse the unissued M&Ps never made it out of the back. Good find, congrats.
