Tax dollars made it possible. Still there is immigration problems, drug problems, unemployment, homelessness, despair, imprisonment, hunger, disease, corporate rip-offs, political bankruptcy, bank thieves, wars, wars, and more wars. But, darn it! We sure got guns!!

Ok im missing it. The cop with the ar has his finger off the trigger. They have the rear hatch on the hmmvw open using the tailgate as a rest and the most likely bullet resustant windows as cover while they discuss tactics and assess the situation...

    Splain it to me please

Why does one guy have a rifle and the guy next to him a shotgun?

And the guy the in middle must be the owner of this:

Probably someone forgot to pay their taxes and they are there to collect.

Yes police should have guns. They need to defend themselves. And guess what, we should have guns too.

    His optics are installed backwards.

    Good Job Engine.

    Pan caught it right off too, I will admit I missed it at first also;
posted the picture over here for amusement. This picture is
supposed to be from Herkimer, NY. I cannot confirm or deny
    that claim.

I have a XPS on my home defense carbine. I've never thought about mounting it backwards but maybe that's how they do it in the hood, like they do with the ball caps.

I'm starting to understand why the police in New York hit more innocent bystanders than they do perps.

Maybe they're taking a page from HK's playbook. In a world of compromise, some mount their optics backwards. Let's hope they don't load their bullets like HK.

Just because you have big boy toys doesn't mean you know how to use them.

That's got to be the funniest s**t I've read on here. Just laughed and tried to hold it in because my chick is sleeping next to me, and blew snot rockets all over my phone as I'm reading. And I woke her up anyway!

    srs?

how can you tell from that blurry pic? or was that a sarcastic comment that I didn't read as sarcastic?

Do those optics even work when backwards? I would seriously hope the guy holding the rifle is not THAT dumb. with all the different brands and models of optics out there, how do we know that the one he is using doesn't just LOOK like another brand that's installed backwards?

Could that picture be a clip from one of the TV cop shows? Most likely. Those guys look like actors to me. They are posing for the camera.

    Maybe.

I got the picture off another forum, supposedly it was from Herkimer, NY
    but I cannot confirm that.

I have yet to see a actual M-4 in use in a TV show or movie. They are
    generally carbine length AR's

who cares about the sight being backwards. is NY that hard up for cops that they let the guy from "Flashpoint" actually respond to emergency call?

i found a larger pic on another forum....it's def backwards. i bet it does work if you look through it backwards, but can you imagine his frustration when he went to zero it?

damn yankees......i can only hope that the cops down here know what the hell they're doing so they can actually shoot a suspect if needed and not harm anyone else in the process.
