Yeah it screws in. So I don't really know how to set it. I don't see any settings it only screws in about 2 2 1/2 inches. Any help?

Nevermind...I thought you were referring to the "Poly-Choke."

I assume your shotgun is a Mossberg?

Unscrew the choke so that it is OUT of barrel completely and look around its sides for markings. Post your findings please.

It has IMP. CYL on it the barrel is 28" ribbed barrel. Not real worried about the slugs but I need to shoot 00bk out of it.

Yea you are fine.....the chokes are what what tightens your pattern up.....the most popular sizes starting from the most open and getting tighter are cylinder, imp cylinder, modified, imp modified, full, and extra full...now there are others but these are the most common you are fine to shoot buckshot or slugs all the way up to a full choke ...hope this helped you out some

If you want to get down to the nitty gritty I could go on forever about Turkey chokes and all the different kinds and sizes but just to start out you will need at least a full but preferably an extra full...

IC is pretty ideal for slugs and fine for 00 Buck too.
