Shotgun shell identification?

1763 Views 10 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  Gizord1
I found this shell, the other day. I ha some more, but this is the last one. It's all plastic, with a .22 blank in the bottom. It had a white plastic "wad" sorta thing stuck about halfway down the shell. I have seen some clear blue rat shot shells, before, and that's what I think this one is. Google searches turned up nothin. Any help is appreciate d

Not sure. Shotgun blank adapter possibly.

That's what I thought. I also thought it might be a snap cap, but its not.
shotguns are centerfire.
22 is rimfire.
blue is the universal color for inert or training.

but for what? im stumped.
I am lobbing a guess here, but I think it's for a flare gun. Perhaps a flare blank.
could it be from a retrieving dummy launcher?

It looks like a 12 ga to .22 adapter that someone stuck at a blank .22 in.

I had a bunch of em. I found them at two different places, but I must've thrown em away.
