Does a typical shotgun pattern on a piece of paper come out as more of a circle with the center filled in evenly or do the pellets tend to group more around the diameter of the circle and less in the center?
The shot should be evenly spread over the circle, and the more evenly the better the choke. All chokes will pattern differently with steel shot and lead shot, steel is alot tighter. Chokes also patteren differently with different sizes of shot.
