I'm in the market for a good reliable optic that is shock proof and won't fall apart or break for my Rem 870 tactical....and isn't going to break my finances. Please give me some info for those of you who have experience with this type sight on your shotgun.

It's not a tactical red dot but I have a tru glo gobble stopper on my Turkey gun and it holds up really well and is fairly affordable

I'm using a cheap red dot and BUIS, I think it a True glow. It's held up for 7 years

Sgt....how do you like your black aces stock? Is it worth the extra weight on the gun?

It's not to bad. I'm 6'2" 240, so swinging it around isn't too bad for me.

Bushnell TRS-25 has worked well on an AR, a Marlin .30-30, and an AK. Probably would work well on a shotgun, none of mine have rails.

Wow that is almost the same set up I have. Im using an open red dot as well. Mine has some sensor thing in the front. To me the rail feels very light and hardly felt any different, sought wise.
