Shotgun Barrel straighten

    Anyone have the tool? I may have a job (have to look at it first), of straightening the barrel of a side-by-side and fixing the stock. But I don't want to bite off too much.

    My smith uses an arbor press, and a couple of blocks of oak.

    I don't know the extent of the damage, yet. The stock fix should go easy. Wood dowels, glue, careful with the clamps should do it.

    C3, has your man done a side by side? I wonder how that could affect the solder.

    A SXS with bent barrels ? EYAH! Let me guess- did this involve a truck tire? Yes, a SXS would add a number of factors over just a pump or auto. Will see him next week, will ask him.

    Don't suppose that Viagra would work, huh?
