Short Snorter?

    Figured I would share... This is my grandfather's Short Snorter, it's a collection of paper money all pilots collected during WWII as they traveled through different countries on their way to the combat areas. He was a Naval Aviator, the Navy rules were as follows:
    If you went to an officers club and did not have your short Snorter on you, you were required to buy drinks for everyone in the club.... Notice the signatures of his crew on the bills IMG_20181122_095838.jpg

    As a side note, I saw yesterday that the oldest living survivor of Pearl Harbor died this week at age 106. He was the son of Mexican immigrants....

    Rest in Peace, Ray Chavez.
