'm looking for a portable shooting bench, I shoot mostly 22's at 100 yards I want something that will be stable on uneven ground. I don't want to waste money on the wrong bench

That link is for a range box not a shooting bench, is that what you sent. Thanks

Yeah I don't know of any portable shooting benches. One of the other guys might.

I built a bench like that one,but used a pre-cut top that a guy in Oklahoma City makes.I bought the top from his site on ebay.
It's very sturdy, and easy to carry around. It's a little on the heavy side, probably around 50-60lbs,but very stable.
Plus LH or RH shooters can use it.

Maybe an old school chair with the attached desk? You could cut a larger top out of 5/8" plywood and add a folding leg in the front, couple carriage bolts with wingnuts to attach it the the existing tabletop.

I just finished building a shooting bench with the rugged buddy sawhorse legs. Can't wait to go to the range tomorrow, the legs have a little wobble when there is no weight on them but once you sit at it and lean into a gun the bench feels real solid.
