Has anyone else made their own shoot n see style targets?

I saw a YouTube video on how to make them. So...

I got some colored poster board, covered one side in packing tape, and then spray painted it flat black.

I gotta see how they react tomorrow.

Hmm I may try it just for kicks but I can't see where it would really save money.

It wud have to save a lot for me to mess with making them-
I mostly use "swinging steel" targets anyway -A little spray paint on them & you get the same effect as shoot 'n see :)

I made about a dozen for the price of 3 shoot n sees, and still have materials left over! Woo!

I would use those but all the ranges around here don't like 'em, if I only had a bunch of land haha.

Here in SW Wyoming its mostly Open Range BLM. From my east window its Public Lands as far as you can see. We have "Gongs" planted over a Section east of my place. You can shoot out 1,800 yds. if you want. I shoot many matches each year and shoot up lots of paper in off hand pistol. I really like the idea of Home Brewed Shoot'in See Targets. Thx for the post.:)

Well I'm very frugal with my shoot n sees. I shoot em. Use the dots. Shoot em again. Then cut them wherever there are no holes into about 1 in sized shapes. So for 1 target I get three range trips
