Story of SgtMaj Kasal in Fallujah 2004. His story epitomises what it is to be a Marine, or a service member. I believe I met him at physical therapy in Pendleton, not sure. He deserves the Medal of Honor, more men do, but do to current politics you have to die. Stories like these make me proud to have served the red white and blue. I get choked up reading and watching these accounts of heroicism. If every American, all 300 million, acted like this, there would be nothing this country could not do. We are the greatest county, but if everyone had that kind of honor, America's podium would tower over all others combined.

Uncommon valor was a common virtue. Thank you Sargent.

He has a book written about his experiences. It is a great read, I recommend it. It is very inspirational. The book is titled "My Men Are My Heroes".

He gets shot, then blown up, and still defends himself and his fallen buddy. All I can say is: WOW!!!
