Series 80
Series 80 have the firing pin blocking safety device.....making it much more work to get a clean, crisp trigger pull.
Series 70 had a collet type bushing which wheh they fail, locks up the slide. Better to change out to a solid match bushing fitted to your slide & barrel.
Look at other than Colts in a 1911 format..you will get more features for the $$$ .
