Sad day, he meant more to me than some others that have been labeled iconic in the music business. Rest in peace.

Dick Clark was a class act as far as I know. He could have a whole page on the ( remember when thread). Rember when american band stand was the tv event of the week.

I watched American Bandstand while it was in Philly and then when it moved to Lost Angeles. At 7 years old, I enjoyed the music during the late 50s. In the 60s, as a teenager, I wanted to go dance on the show but, as a teenager, my parents had the final word...and that was NO.

An icon? Dick Clark was just that....a music icon. Never again will we see the likes of Dick Clark.

R.I.P. Dick. You've earned the peace and rest.....
