Savage 93's

    Thinking about getting a Savage 93 in .22wmr . They are pretty inexpensive right now. Don't own any Savages so I don't have any experience with them....just Marlin and Henry's and of course Ruger.

    Those of you that own them....good quality? Accurate?

    I have the 93F and it is very accurate. I'm not good enough to use the full potential of the rifle but it hits exactly where I aim it. My only complaint is that the stock on mine cracked after I dropped it from 2 1/2 feet do I had to buy a new one. Overall I love it it was my first gun so it is special to me.

    i have a M93r17, which is the 17 HMR version. pretty dang accurate, and very well made. my biggest fault i could find was the short LOP with the original stock. i changed mine out to a Boyd's laminated. made a worl of difference in shooting it. IMO, well worth the money. get just the rifle and put a good scope on it and you're good to go.

    I've had a 93GL for several years,it's a great 22 magnum.It loves to shoot the Remington 33gr V-Max bullets.
    It shoots other ammo pretty good,but prefers the Remington.

    Savage 93 in .17 HMR. Closest thing I have had to a death ray. Shoots like a laser.

    Yes,the 93's are excellent & accurate rifles!

    I have a Savage 93R17 FVSS. It's topped off with a Bushnell Legend 4.5-14x44mm.

    It's worked out to be a very nice combination.

    I have a 93R that Savage re-barelled into a 22 MAG. Very nice gun, heavy. (It's the varmint version.) Make sure you get one with the Accutrigger.

    This is my heavy barrelled, stainless 93 in .22 WMR. She will eat 30 grain Hornady V-Max's all day long.

    Tack driver out past 150 yards. 'Nuff said.

    Harris bipod and she's topped with a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14X40.
