I used to work with a gun smith in Richardson Tx. He was the only one I knew of at the time who distributed the Sant Barbera barreled action. The invester who owned the inventory I never knew. I had several of the guns back in 1973, some I re barreled with Schillen barrels in 25/06, 6mm/06, 257 roberts. Anyway They all had Roberts stocks, the ones I did not put Schillen barels on were stamped Richard Texas and had Star barrels on them. I assume there were others who smithed the same barreled action but I cannot tel you where they were imported from and who the importer may have been.
Hope this helps!

I know this gun is not worth a whole lot!, it is a family gun purchased in 1938 16 GA. Pump with a adjustable choke. I have found out these guns were made by Mossberg, Ithica and I thing Savage, Well how do tell which manufacturer made wich gun?
Thanks.

Hi from Mexico... I also have a Santa Barbara action, I have it in 25-06 rem, stamp on the top of the barrel in front of the receiver is a Bishop an on the bottom of the barrel is stamped RG (betwen stars), also on the barrel but hidden by the stock is stamped, Federal Interarms co.
Do you know what kind of barrel is it?? This rifle comes to Mexico from USA.

I have a 98 Mauser with a synthetic stock and would like to put a wood stock on it. Not a cut down military stock, Post some pictures and maybe we can work something out.
