So I noticed my shelves bowing down from all the weight of the ammo. Had to slap some supports under them. 8k rounds of various ammo will apparently do that. The Cannon S-33 shelves are not as strong as I hoped. If you buy a Cannon, slap the supports in before you start bowing your shelves. You can see the before picture where the ammo is starting to lean towards the center. [IMG][IMG]

    Ammunition is heavy.
My ammunition isn't valuable enough to be kept in a safe.

I got 18 guns crammed in there. No place to put ammo. I don't want a few thousand dollars worth of ammo laying around. Plus my neighbors kids been arrested for breaking into houses in the neighborhood twice already. Don't want to risk it , and fund his drug habit.

Those shelves still need support in the rear.
Maybe a locked footlocker to store the ammunition?

I put supports in the rear as well. My friend should be upgrading from his 24 rifle safe, when he does he selling it to me. Soon I hope!

Replace the shelves with plywood? Those on the picture look like particle board.
