    Hello to all & hope we have an enjoyable summer. Your thoughts on the Springfield Armory's Range Officer model & latest pricing would be appreciated. Thanx in advance, jd45

    I can't complain. They finally did what I did to my SA over 35 years ago. But their pricing is cheaper than what I ended paying.

    Picked mine up 3 weeks ago. Super accurate, very tight. I probably paid too much at my lgs but I would rather support them and be able to see what I am getting.

    This is the most enjoyable gun i have ever shot.

    $830 out the door fwiw.. You won't regret the purchase.

    They are great guns for the money at 750 or so. Target sights leave me cold but it is built for competition or range use. Built in the USA and the fit and finish is better than the Brazil guns. Most have a tight frame to slide fit and a tight barrel bushing fit. Enjoy the gun if you can find one. 2" at 25 yds is not out of the question if you can shoot. Not a LB or EB but a nice gun.

    Gat also has the RO as a range rental if you want to try it out first.
