Lgs has one for $1495.00. Just wanted to get some opinions on it. I am new to 1911's but this one just feels right. It's probably a little pricy for entry level. But I'd rather pay a little more if I'm getting better quality.

IMO, It is better to purchase one for a lifetime than to purchase 100 that don't quite "feel right".

That's what I'm thinking to. I will have to go over budget. But that's happened before. Probably have a little explaining to do at home.

At first, I thought $1495?? Then I looked, and that seems right in the normal range (I don't remember them running that much). I agree with the "get what you want the first time" sentiment.
Fair warning, You can't stop at just one.

It's a middle of the road price. Great guns though. SA has real good CS so I say go for it.

I'm going to stop back in tomorrow. I'm in Maryland so it will take 10 days. Sucks

I own a SA MC Operator and have a Professional on order ($2400.00). That's the civilian version of the FBI SRT/HRT sidearm. Only difference between the two is the serial number. Comes straight out of the custom shop. I love my springer! I don't go anywhere without it. And, yeah, overkill is spot on, once you start... 1911's are addicting.

I believe the correct term for the affliction is "nineteenelevenitis"

I think I've caught it and haven't got one yet.
