Took the plunge, ordered a M&P 15-22 pistol last Wednesday. I already have the Colt/Umarex M4 OPS, no issues. Looking forward to having the Smith....should be here in a couple of days.:D

Someone needs to tell the guys in S&W's new product development to stop having so much fun.

Bud's gun shop, Louisville,KY. $422.00 shipped. Also a $50.00 rebate from Smith 'til the end of May....Buds is the first place I found as of last weekend to actually have them in stock and for sale.

I received it yesterday, boy I have to say the thing looks GOOD. The polymer finish is clean, sharp and well-defined. The charging handle, bolt release and safety are CRISP....I'm VERY pleased!:)

yeah the Colt/Umarex OPS is my standby .22 now. I can run 500 rounds at a time thru it, no issues. I was actually waiting on Umarex USA to bring in the new H&K 416 .22 pistol from Walther, due at the end of June. It has an 8'' barrel versus the Smith's 6'', so I went for the shorter one...This one is all metal.

AND the Smith pistol..... I haven't seen either of those yet. The good thing about the pistols, I can sneak those in the safe without the Wife knowing :p

Saw one over at the local gun shop today. It's a wicked looking gun, but I'll take the rifle.

My dad picked one up this week. I sent him the picture after seeing this thread, and he went out and got one like two days later.

I have the S&W M&P 15-22 rifle, love the little thing. Had an issue with the extractor blowing out - not broken. I did call S&W for a return to factory repair; based on the serial number it is an older model.

I would love to have the pistol! Bloody gun porn addiction! :D

Buds has stores in Paris and Lexington Ky. I have not hears of a shop of theirs in Louisville. I've not even been to the one in Lexington but It's supposed to have a range open soon.

Great people to buy from. If you get a chance to actually go in some great deals can be made:)
