I have a old sears model 25 .22 that I got from my grandpa when he past which got me into guns. My ? Is there is some rust on the barrel and I want to stop it. Is there something I can put on it and is there and gun paint I can use to make it look new. I'm new to guns thanks.

Fine steel wool and Clp will take it off and keep it off. A cold blue kit to touch up isn't a bad idea.

I'll second Kroil oil..let er soak over night and use 0000 steel or bronze wool if you don't care about the bluing or just a nylon brush and rags..CLP works good too
