the saiga stuff seems fine. The basic AK-style design is pretty durable. The saiga has some minor differences, but is still just as durable. I haven't shot one, but everyone who has one seems to like it well enough...
I have a Saiga/223 and it is an OK weapon. I don't like the sights and put a scope on it. Accuracy is a bit better than my old Mini 14 but not that great. It works fine with no jamming or FTF,but is pretty hard on the brass so I usually shoot cheap import ammo with it and save the good stuff/handloads for my AR's. All around I would say a decent gun,fun to shoot. THB
