Saw one yesterday in Chadds Ford, PA...pm me if you want the number of the dealer, sure he'll ship it to your FFL. Asking price was $850 or so.

Ya, I have seen them on the online auction sights as well but the prices seem quite inflated, the Ruger website lists the msrp at 799, usually you can buy guns much cheaper than the msrp. I'll just wait till I can find one locally at a realistic price, it will probably be awhile.

I go shooting at the range in GAT Guns and I saw them there, too. But it's been a couple weeks. They have an excellent selection of guns. It's a great place. The salesman who sold me my Sig P238 remembers me every time I go in and chats with me for a while. :)

I ran across one at a gun show a few months ago for $699. I happily snapped it up for that price. Its been 100% great so far, and in my opinion is a very handsome gun.

But don't let impatience bait you into paying $800+. The Ruger is a nice, reliable, basic 1911. But once you start getting closer to $800+, you can probably do a bit better with a higher grade Springfield, Sig, classic Colt, etc.

A buddy of mine called me yesterday afternoon an tod me i had to come over now. When i arrived he meet me at the door with a big grin. He stopped a a local gun shop rhat morning and they had one, had just put it in the case. He got it for 715.00 plus tax. We ran about 350 rounds through it, really run it through the paces. Had absolutley no issues with it, functioned awesome. Bad thing is now i want one lol.
