Found one for 325 used but in good shape its a 357 with 2.75 inch barrel any input? Also considering a s&w 15-3 38. A little more worn tho

Both good guns. Not a bad price either.

The Ruger is a great gun, and that's a decent price. I have stainless 2 3/4" now and used to have the same in blue. I never should have sold the first one.
While not impossible to find, they are few and far between. People that have them tend to keep them. A good bedside gun.

Great gun for a great price.
Cant go wrong on the Sec Six for 325 unless its a wreck.

Its the blued model and there's hardly any wear at all. As far as the s&w its got bad holster wear. I know the ruger is supposed to be pretty tough built.

Mine was as well... Stainless Steel 6" barrel... If I had NO Choice but to get rid of all of my handguns but one.. that one is the keeper!

Can anyone recommend a good grip for it? Saw a hogue grip on amazon that looked decent.

if you prefer wood drips, then try to find mustang custom combat grips, the service six in blue, 4" is my edc. the service six is the fixed sight version of the security six. if you havent already i also recommend the reduced power springs kit from wolff.

I like the look of wood grips but I think the feel of rubber would be better for shooting. What does the spring kit do exactly?

Perfect! Its a short barreld version.
that way since its profile is also slimmer than the GP 100 it makes a realistic way to carry .357 Mag while still maintaining a medium frame gun

Yea its about the perfect size barrels still long enough to hit my target but not to long where its hard to carry
