I have had my 10/22 for quite some time now an I love it. It is dependable, with great accuracy. I have had maybe 2 jams with it and that was only because the magazines I used had workout springs. I clean it about twice a year, once before and once after squirrel season and I have no rust or any problems of that sort. I have shot multiple types of ammo through it and could tell no difference when firing. Dependable and durable and most important- fun!

We have a 10/22 that our daughter now claims and named Mr. Bob....it shoots well and is accurate. We've never had any issues. I would suggest getting the extended mag though so you're not reloading all the time.

The Ruger 10/22 shoots very well and it is reliable. You can find an aftermarket anything you don't like about the 10/22.

can't compare to the 552...but my 10/22 is just a great gun....endless possibilities for aftermarket growth with it as well....

I've got one factory bone stock 10/22 carbine that I just bought off of my youngest brother. Less than 200 total rounds though that gun. Great great shooter. That one is going in the safe for my oldest son, who is about to turn 5. Now for the fun part...... I love the 10/22 so much that I decided to sell off my M&P 15/22 and build one of my own. Not buy one and then modify it. Build entirely from aftermarket parts. Here's whats going in mine....
